<\/figure>\n\n\n\nIm Anschluss begann ein abwechslungsreiches B\u00fchnenprogramm: Von der Krippendarstellung \u00fcber Auftritte verschiedener Jahrgangsstufen bis hin zur Jahrgangsstufe 12 war f\u00fcr Gro\u00df und Klein etwas dabei. Musikalische Darbietungen, kleine Theaterst\u00fccke und sogar ein liebevoll gestaltetes Schattentheater sorgten f\u00fcr begeisterten Applaus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ein besonderes Highlight \u2013 und zugleich eine Premiere \u2013 war der Tannenbaumschm\u00fcck-Wettbewerb zwischen Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fclern, Lehrkr\u00e4ften und Eltern. In einem \u00e4u\u00dferst knappen Rennen konnten sich die Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler den ersten Platz sichern \u2013 dicht gefolgt von den Lehrkr\u00e4ften.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nach den Auff\u00fchrungen ging die Feier in ein gem\u00fctliches Get-together \u00fcber. Gl\u00fchwein und Punsch durften nat\u00fcrlich nicht fehlen, ebenso wenig wie Hotdogs und viele weitere Leckereien am Buffet, das mit viel Engagement vom Elternbeirat organisiert wurde. Die Stimmung war ausgelassen, es wurde viel gelacht, getanzt und bis sp\u00e4t in den Abend gemeinsam gefeiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ein herzliches Dankesch\u00f6n gilt allen, die diese wunderbare Weihnachtsfeier m\u00f6glich gemacht haben \u2013 den Mitwirkenden auf der B\u00fchne, den engagierten Eltern, den Lehrkr\u00e4ften, dem Organisationsteam und allen helfenden H\u00e4nden im Hintergrund.\n\nWir blicken dankbar auf einen gelungenen Abend zur\u00fcck und w\u00fcnschen unserer gesamten Schulgemeinschaft eine frohe und besinnliche Weihnachtszeit.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Last Friday, the German Embassy School Addis Ababa came together to celebrate this year\u2019s Christmas celebration in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The event was officially opened by our Head of School, Mr. Robert Hasse (l), the Chair of the Board, Mr. Shumit Chanda (m), and the Chair of the Parents\u2019 Council, Mr. Abdulahi (r), who all highlighted the importance of community, collaboration, and togetherness during this special season. This was followed by a diverse and entertaining program of performances. Starting with the nativity scene and continuing through performances by various grade levels up to Grade 12, the audience enjoyed musical performances, short theatre pieces, and even a beautifully prepared shadow theatre. A special highlight of the evening \u2014 and a premiere this year \u2014 was the Christmas Tree Decorating Competition between students, teachers, and parents. In a very close contest, the students claimed first place, narrowly ahead of the teachers. After the performances, the celebration continued with a cozy get-together. Guests enjoyed mulled wine and punch, as well as hot dogs and a variety of delicious treats from the buffet, which was lovingly organized by the parents. The atmosphere was lively and joyful, with plenty of dancing that continued late into the evening.
