Auch in diesem Jahr zeigten unsere Athletinnen und Athleten beim ICS Leichtathletik Wettbewerb ihre beeindruckenden F\u00e4higkeiten in verschiedenen Disziplinen wie Hochsprung, Weitsprung, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Kugelsto\u00dfen und Diskuswurf. Der Wettbewerb fand unter strahlendem Sonnenschein statt und bot eine gro\u00dfartige Gelegenheit, gegen andere internationale Schulen wie die ICS, Bingham School, Sandford School und weitere Schulen aus Addis Abeba anzutreten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unsere Athletinnen und Athleten ernteten die Fr\u00fcchte ihres harten Trainings, das sie in den Wochen vor dem Wettbewerb absolviert hatten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Emmanuel Wondwossen aus Klasse 8, der in allen Einzeldisziplinen, an denen er teilnahm, den ersten Platz belegte und dabei mehrere Schulrekorde brach. Aber auch andere Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler unserer Schule erzielten tolle Platzierungen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again this year, our athletes showed their impressive skills in various disciplines such as high jump, long jump, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, shot put and discus throw at the ICS Track and Field competition. The competition took place under bright sunshine and provided a great opportunity to compete against other international schools such as ICS, Bingham School, Sandford School and other schools from Addis Ababa. Our athletes reaped the rewards of their hard training in the weeks leading up to the competition. Of particular note is Emmanuel Wondwossen from Grade 8, who came first in all the individual events he competed in, breaking several school records in the process. But other students from our school also achieved great placings.
