A new barefoot path was inaugurated with great joy and enthusiasm at the kindergarten of the German Embassy School in Addis Ababa. This special project enables the children to feel different natural materials under their feet and thus train their sensory perception in a playful way.

The barefoot path consists of different surfaces such as sand, gravel, wood or grass and not only offers the children an exciting experience, but also promotes their motor skills and connection to nature.

The barefoot path is a sustainable and educational element in everyday kindergarten life and will offer the children a variety of sensory experiences in the long term.
