“What is the significance of the discoverer Magellan?”, “In what country is Tasman Glacier?” or “Name the population density of China!” – Tricky Questions at the Diercke Geography Competition.
15 students from grades 7 to 10, who are interested in who are able to enthuse the most demanding geographers, tested their knowledge. As the above examples clearly show, the test was a tough one and brought even the geography teachers of the DBSAA are sweating.
