On 30 May 2026, the German Embassy School Addis Ababa celebrated the graduation of Grades 9, 10, and 12 in a festive and memorable ceremony. Students, families, teachers, and distinguished guests came together to honor the graduates and celebrate their achievements. The event opened with a beautiful piano performance by Tim Schulte, setting a wonderful tone for the afternoon. This was followed by a number of inspiring speeches, including remarks by Dr. Ferdinand von Weyhe, Chargé d’Affaires of the German Embassy. The official program concluded with the presentation of certificates and diplomas, particularly for the students of the IB Diploma Programme. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to a reception before the celebrations continued into the evening. Catering was provided by the Hilton Hotel, creating a pleasant setting for conversations and shared memories. Later, the festivities continued with music and dancing as the school gymnasium was transformed into a dance floor.
