Dr. Martin Nutz

Head of School

Welcome to the German Embassy School Addis Ababa. Our school has a long history of excellence in education, dating back over 90 years. In that time, we have stayed true to our core values of individualized learning, respect, responsibility, and community.

Our devoted teachers work closely with students in small groups to support their specific needs and nurture their potential across grades Kindergarten to 12. We believe in developing a student through academic rigor, enrichment activities, arts, athletics, and service learning. Our students consistently meet high standards while becoming compassionate, environmentally conscious global citizens.

Beyond the classroom, we have a vibrant school culture where students, parents, alumni, and staff come together. Our community is tight-knit, diverse, and dedicated to the success of every child.

I invite you to explore the website and learn more about our school’s offerings, achievements, and community. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you personally about finding the right fit for your child.
